With more than 20 years of property and funds management experience in Australia and overseas, Tony was universally respected and well known in the industry for his integrity and leadership.
Tony held a Master of Property Economics from Queensland University of Technology, a Bachelor of Valuation and Property Management, was a registered valuer and property economist. He was an active member of the property investment community and mentored and trained junior colleagues with a focus on social leadership.
Tony was a Fellow and the immediate past Chairman of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in Queensland and Northern Territory.
He co-founded Stronghold Investment Services with Steve de Nys and Bruce Anderson in 2013 and his attention to detail and extensive experience in commercial valuation and advisory, property finance and funds management contributed to Stronghold’s success to date and the exciting future which lies ahead for the company and its investors.
Prior to the foundation of Stronghold, Tony was the CEO of an integrated property funds management company and before that, the Director of Property Finance at NAB, responsible for institutional investment and development lending and advisory across a broad spectrum of property and related transactions.
Throughout his career in real estate and institutional banking, Tony has always been generous with his time and knowledge. His professionalism and leadership will be sorely missed.
Tony was a family man, and a true gentleman. He leaves behind his wife and 3 young children.
A funeral service was held at St Finbarr’s Catholic Church on Tuesday 10th October, 2017 and the wake was held at the Victoria Park Golf Course Bistro.
